The concept for the album came from Loeb's contemplation of his own minor heart murmur and the rhythms of the human heartbeat. A deeply personal project, it features contributions from his family as well as musicians Mark Egan and Vinnie Colaiuta. Loeb is a talented guitarist, but, more importantly, this album offers up a fresh and bright sound, making it a joy to listen to.
