High qualitiy and awardwinning fonts from Argentian type foundry Type-Together
High qualitiy and awardwinning fonts from Argentian type foundry Type-Together
1,7MB | OTF Format
Type-Together is an independent type foundry, founded by Veronika Burian and José Scaglione in 2006, offering both retail and custom-made fonts. The company developed out of the desire to create an independent platform for publishing high quality typefaces and to collaborate on new type projects together. Hence the name.
Type-together’s focus is on finding innovative and stylish solutions to old problems mainly for the professional market of text typefaces. However, there are also a couple of more experimental display faces in the make. Type-together also aims for excellent technical performance, broad language support and at least the standard opentype features.

Collection of retro-esque fonts by Rian Hughes,Device Fonts
Collection of retro-esque fonts by Rian Hughes,Device Fonts
20MB | T1, TTF & OT formats
Rian Hughes is a British graphic designer, illustrator and comics artist, noted for his work on 2000AD, where he illustrated Robo-Hunter, Tales from Beyond Science, Really and Truly and Dan Dare, among others. His work was highly distinctive, wearing its design influences on its sleeve, daring to be two-dimensional and bold in its use of large expanses of flat, bold colours. This stood out particularly during the early 1990s, when British comics were leaning ever more towards fully-painted art. Unusually, Hughes preferred to be his own letterer, and designed several unusual fonts for this purpose.
Hughes' has described typography as "the particle physics of design". Hughes' interest in letterforms began at an unusually young age thanks to a Letraset catalogue his architect father had lying about the studio. At 15 he visited Letraset, where he saw Rubylith being used for the first time to create type.
This is the technique he used in the early days of his career when producing custom type for his design work. Early fonts like Crash Bang Wallop and Revolver (originally designed for Speakeasy and Revolver magazine respectively) were digitisations of fonts originally done in this old-fashioned method of Rubylith on board.
His first fonts were released back in 1992 as part of the FontFont range, while subsequent designs have been released via his own foundry, Device Fonts.

299kb + add ups | Graph editor | rainbow creation | Fast rendering | ocean surface creation | boat wakes
for Lightwave and other 3D applications probably 3Ds max/Mud Box/zBrush/Maya
NatureFX has always been regarded as the only professional large water body creation tool available for ANY 3D application. Supported is standard water surface texturing (bump mapping) and ocean swells (displacement mapping). In addition, procedural volumetric clouds and atmospheric effects (haze, rainbows, etc.) come standard with NatureFX!
Features
Volumetric and evolving clouds: all difficult to create in LightWave. Generate photo-realistic clouds and atmospheres. Includes an advanced optics shader that allows full control of volumetric lighting properties such as self-shadowing, visibility, and specular highlights.
NatureFX allows the LightWave animator to create these same effects with ease. The interface is easy to use and understand. Unlike other similar software, with Psyclone you get what you expect, completely photo-real clouds.
Moving water, wakes, ripples: all difficult to create in LightWave. You've seen the movies we all admire and try to imitate: Contact, Sphere, The Truman Show, Devil's Advocate, The Fifth Element, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Waterworld, and the Academy Award winning James Cameron epic, Titanic.
The popular nature effects plug-in is capable of creating authentic-looking water effects, from vast ocean scenes to backyard pools. View from both above and below the surface with ripples, swells, and wakes, and generate photo-realistic clouds and atmospheres.
New in NatureFX V2.0:
One GUI allows quicker tweaking and setup.
Graph Editor and Expression support.
Greater control over rainbow creation and placement.
Supports evolving clouds and precisely fit a cloud to any object shape with shape preview right in layout.
Integrated with LW6 & 7 volumetric rendering meaning faster rendering.
Better ocean rendering with improved support for reflection and refraction.
Straight AND curved boat wakes.
System/soft requirements
LightWave 7.0b or higher

Lightwave 3D plugin TextureScape
This Lightwave Modeler Tool plugin opens the Texture Editor and allows the user to interactively create a Lightwave object that approximates a landscape based on the texture's Image, Procedural, and Gradient layers. Instead of creating a large uniform rectangular grid of heights, this plugin allows the user to specify the number of points in the final object, then proceeds to optimize the landscape, creating an irregular triangulated Lightwave object that best approximates the original texture.
